Regulatory alert 002/2023 – West Nile Virus

Today we issued a regulatory alert following a recent case of West Nile Virus (WNV) in France.  We issued this alert to all UK establishments that handle human tissues and cells for human application, or are involved in solid organ transplantation to raise awareness of WNV cases in areas not normally associated with this virus.
